I have a ton of things to post; I’ve been recording them everywhere, in my notebook, on my computer etc. I will post them once I’m done with the thesis introduction madness. Yes, I am at the ‘writing introduction’ stage which means I’m trying to contain all the ingredients within a wrap without them spilling over. And this means I get random panic-anxiety spikes when I am trying to fall asleep at night. So this is a place where I will record what has been done everyday and give my brain a shutdown signal.
29th August 2026
I have read and made notes of what happened during 1950-70 in Kerala around the themes of levy on rice (assembly debates, EMS), rationing (reports, debates, articles), technical advancement in agriculture, family pattern, education, and conjugality (all of these from monographs and such). Will bring the notes together and write a history of rice and the left that goes with the novel. I have everything in one place.
